The Cardinal Storm

I haven’t been sharing anything on my blog for a while. I have considered giving up and focus more on other things in my life. I am still not sure about that. And then I have found myself in the middle of the Cardinal Grand Cross and I decided to write. I have read so many articles on this topic and I have heard all the most terrible things. I wanted to share my side of the story and here it is.

What is this?

This is supposed to be the most challenging part of the year 2014 and of years to come. It is a square forming in the sky and it affects us all in one way or another. Winter of 2014 was a hard, but peaceful one with all the retrograde planets, but now we are emerging in spring. This is when it starts harsh with the square forming in the sky. What is actually happening is that 2 planets are 180 degrees apart (opposite), and all 4 planets form right (90-degree) angles to each other. And they are all in Cardinal Signs. A square brings a stormy aspect, stagnation and a need to break through, change and new opportunities. This will be an energy hard to ignore and hard to bear. It is said that we really are in for a life-changing event of epic proportions.

Who are the Cardinal Signs?

Cardinal signs are natural leaders and initiators. The mode is pioneering, conquering and carries great force. Enthusiasm and a zest for life fill your life when it comes to Cardinal energy. Some might perceive this energy as domineering, and, at times, it can be. Their energetic spirit often wins the day. In the zodiac the cardinal cross covers the 4 fundamentals of life as you will see below. The Cardinal Grand Cross will change the very foundations of our lives.

Cardinal Cross: Planets

Aries, the first, the leader of the pack, the idea guy, the force and power of the zodiac. It represents the self. The most important person here is “me”. Uranus is now in Aries at 13 degrees.

Libra, the seventh, the elegant, peaceful and graceful guy in the story. These people love beauty and they excel in diplomacy. The most important person around is “us”. The exact opposite of Aries. Mars is now in Libra at 13 degrees.

Cancer, the forth, the family guy, the creator of home and environment, the reason we have happy homes and mothers; the support for all of us, the foundation. Jupiter is now is Cancer at 13 degrees.

Capricorn, the tenth, the career guy, the director, the office and entrepreneur, the reason we work and have high standards at work. He represents the passion for a lifelong goal. Pluto is now in Capricorn at 13 degrees.

 
All aspects at 13 degrees? The 4 planets become exactly aligned in a Grand Cross at 13 degrees on the 23rd of April 2014. This will have an effect this weeks and months to come. 13 is the transformation number, the change, the new, the death of something. It is a sign of letting go and moving forward in a new direction. We all have to find that balance between ourselves and others, between our career and our family life.

What to expect?

The Cardinal Grand Cross will indicate stagnation at first. That means that we will be blocked some weeks or months to come until all this shocking energy is relieved. We just have to go with the flow and understand that in order to achieve what we want in life, we have to make compromises and learn the art of true diplomacy. Growth comes at a price and this price will be paid no matter what you do and who you are. Try not to control the environment around you especially if you have Cardinal people with you in key positions.

Happy New Year and Happy Sky to all of you! Thank you to each one of you for reading my blog in 2013. It’s been a great year for me and I grew more and more in love with myLittleAstrology. I have spent some weeks putting together the story of 2014 for each Sun Sign and now here it is. I really hope it is going to be helpful. Cancer 2014 -relations and change

Dear Cancer, this is your general description of the Green Wood Horse, 2014. This year you are exposed to the Uranus square Pluto astrological event. Read here if you want more information about this one. This square means an entire different shift and a change in your life foundations. You will change or the environment is going to change you. You still have lovely Jupiter by your side and that means you are going in the right direction with this change. Remember 2014 is a year of relationships, a year where we create relations or we just get rid of the ones that are not doing any good to our lives and this is a notable part. We are ready to fight for the relations that are good for us and we are ready to forget all about the people that are not right. This year we take action and make decisions, we don’t plan; we just feel what we should do. Not all decisions must be based on instinct, but this is the general trend. Venus and Mars are 2 very important planets in the year of the Green Wood Horse and these are both retrograde at the start of the year and that is why we have to be careful in anything we do in our relations.

Venus is now very powerful and Venus is retrograde till the 31st of January and that means you have to be very careful in any relations that you have. A past love may come to haunt you and you have to be prepared. Evaluate and don’t rush into anything at the start of the year. If you are together with the love of your life, this aspect will not have a great impact on you. But if you are with the wrong person, you can actually feel sick and Venus will make you get rid of that relation. Venus will just open your eyes and show you what kind of person is by your side and this is not going to be a happy illumination. Mars is also going to retrograde at the start of this year in March, April and May 2014 and for you, that is a sign of going to the negotiations room and not to war. Mars is forcing you to play it safe, don’t plan any parties at home and try not to invest in any item related to home improvement. Another thing is that you should not go to court in any circumstances.

Decisive action, not procrastination, brings victory in a year like this one. That goes for the major changes this year. These are given by the 4 eclipses that we have in our astrological chart. Lunar Eclipse in Aries: me versus us

The 18/19^th of October 2013 brings a Penumbral Lunar Eclipse in Aries opposing the Sun in Libra. The ruler of this Full Moon is Mars, the planet of action and aggression. I saw that many people are wondering about it and decided to write an article. Well, this marks a beginning of Aries/Libra eclipses that will be with us till 2016, approximately 3 years from now. Aries is about “me” and Libra is about “us”, so the main focus will be independence and relationship.

I have been saying this in my other posts, the general rule of thumb avoid making decisions on a Lunar Eclipse. The main reason is you will not have all the information at hand, especially when soon Mercury, the planet of communication will turn retrograde in the sign of Scorpio (hidden meanings). So, open your eyes and search underneath the surface!

Aries

You are experiencing a heavy period and with this eclipse things are going to change big time for you! You have got to be prepared for it! What’s the Sun Sign for the Hero nowadays?

Today, it’s the 18th of July 2013. We are in the middle of the Grand Water Trine. For me, this Trine meant me minus 1 tooth and a lot of pain. This is all I am going to tell you about me as this post is dedicated to something very dear to me, a hero and to my question: What’s the Sun Sign for the Hero nowadays?

Here’s how the story develops: on the 18th of July 1918, in the village of Mvezo in Umtatu, then a part of South Africa a new baby boy is born. With both parents illiterate, there were small chances of the little boy going to school. Being a devout Christian, his mother sent him to a local school. There he got his English name: Nelson. As a young boy he played sports, enjoyed friends and developed his lifelong love for gardening.

He started studying Law at the University of Witwatersrand being the only native African student, but devoting most of his time to politics. Whilst at university he became increasingly aware of the unjust nature of South African Society. He was exposed to liberal, radical and Africanist thought, racism and discrimination. He was able to finish his degree and qualify as a Lawyer. The young man fought against apartheid and for legal rights. He became a leader in the African National Congress and wanted to follow Gandhi’s non-violence approach. He was not able to do this as the political climate had changed. In 1960, in Sharpeville a massacre of 63 black South Africans took place.By 1962 he had been arrested and sentenced to life in prison. He spent 27 years in Robben Island prison. He was arrested for what he believed and not for what he did. The life in prison was tough and sometimes unbearable, but he tried to make the best out of it. He said the secret was to keep your emotions under control and he was becoming very good at it. In prison, it is said that he managed to keep a very good relation with all the guardians. He admitted their human side and talked to them.

In 1990 he became the country’s first black president. He later played a leading role in the drive for peace. He won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993.

This is the short story of a super hero of our times – Nelson Mandela! He was born under the blessed Cancer Sun Sign. He was tolerant, devoted, intuitive, protective, home and country oriented, with a very powerful emotional intelligence, humane and patient.July 18th is Nelson Mandela day. People are asked that for 67 minutes on this day people will help people. This is the number of years that Nelson Mandela spent serving his country.

I believe that the hero nowadays must be a Cancer Sun Sign and the reason is simple: we need love, emotions, a lot of tolerance for one another and a great free forgiving and patient spirit.
