Libra is the sign of balance, of equality and of justice. The symbol is a scale that weights and measures; as you can see in the earrings this lady is wearing and so do Libra natives. Librans seek equality, harmony, and balance. They are the best at considering multiple sides of the story. Librans are also very good with relations of any kind as this is the seventh sign of the zodiac. While the first six signs of the zodiac focus on the individual, the last six focus on the individual’s contact with others and with the world.

The test of a first-rate intelligence is the ability to hold 2 opposed ideas in the mind at the same time, and still retain the ability to function.” F. Scott Fitzgerald, Libra Man, born September 24.

Libras are objective, just and want to do what’s best for everyone. And please don’t doubt that for a moment when it comes to the Libra Sun Sign. They can just see what’s best for you before you do and that is why in my opinion make the best of leaders. The Libra-born are keen strategists, organizing groups with poise and getting the job done. I have Margaret Thatcher and Mahatma Gandhi, 2 very different leaders as a proof for that. They have a special way of treating conflict as this saying goes:

First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.” Mahatma Gandhi, Libra Man, born October 2.

The Libra Sun Sign is ruled by Venus and that means beauty and money and a lot of good fortune. They are usually lucky people as they are the right person at right time in the right moment. They like beauty and arts, travel and foreign cultures, love to learn new things and find a way of using those for the best. Libras are cultured and refined. Libras are artistic, stylish and enjoy creating a beautiful world.

This is an Air Sun Sign, so they always want to reach higher and higher. Libra, as sisters Aquarius and Gemini, love to put its mind at use and enjoys communicating with others. They can charm people with the way they handle words and that is why it is always a pleasure to talk to a Libra. They can just make others feel comfortable about themselves and that is, I think, the best quality of a manager.

I hope I convinced you all with this Sun Sign of balance and truth seeking. What about you fall in love with this Sun Sign? Read on to see what you are about to find when in love with a Libra man or woman:

The Libra man in search of a muse

I started thinking about writing this article about 3 weeks ago when I was wondering around the internet. My main finding is quite simple and I tried to put it in the title – men born under the Libra sun sign are all in search of a muse. I am not sure if really all of them, but I know some folks.

The Libra Man is …

I will begin this by creating a little portrait of the Libra Man – he is handsome, usually balanced, finds partnership very natural and he has a way with words. He loves a good debate and he is a man of ideas. The real Libras are urbane and refined. He is fond of beautiful things like jewels, sleek cars, and shiny gadgets. He also likes beautiful people. That is because Libra is ruled by Venus, who controls arts and beauty. He loves museums, festivals and cultural activities. By now I hope I made you curious about this man.

Libra Man – the writer

F. Scott Fitzgerald

F. Scott Fitzgerald, Libra, born on the 24th of September is one of the greatest American writers and the one who writes about and for the Jazz Age, a term he actually invented himself. We all know him as the author of “The Great Gatsby”, his most famous novel. He was the perfect Libra Man: he was bright, handsome, very ambitious, the pride and joy of his parents. At the age of 15, he started to see he had a thing for writing and that is when he decided to go to Princeton University. There he met his destiny: he met the muse. Was he searching for one? I think so…Daisy from “The Great Gatsby” known in real life as Ginevra King. She was a society girl, rich and ready for excitement; he was the witty student with no money. Their love affair never had a chance and it didn’t. He gave up Princeton only to succeed in becoming one of the best writers of all time.

I loved the way Fitzgerald describes Daisy (Ginevra King) in “The Great Gatsby” – the way she talks is ‘low, thrilling’ and she speaks in a murmur to make people lean in closer to her. ‘It was the kind of voice that the ear follows up and down as if each speech is an arrangement of notes that will never be played again.’ I loved Carey Mulligan in Baz Luhrmann movie “The Great Gatsby”.

That makes F. Scott Fitzgerald the main Libra Man in love forever with his muse. I say forever and I mean it. Fitzgerald tried to reach out to Ginevra years later. Time after time Fitzgerald used Ginerva as the inspiration for his female characters.

Libra Man – the philosopher

Friedrich Nietzsche

Nietzsche is a Libra man born on the 15th of October. He was a philologist, philosopher, cultural critic, poet and composer of a German origin. He was the Libra Man of ideas, of ideology and of personal power. His main themes were “the death of God”, the Apollonian/Dionysian dichotomy, the Will to Power. Nietzsche’s reception has been firstly to reach a much broader readership than any other philosopher of his century. But behind every great man is a woman. At one point in his life, Nietzsche met his muse, the Russian born Louise Andreas-Salome in Rome. She was born on the 12th of February, an Aquarius breed and when Nietzsche met her, she was only 21.

It is said that of all the women who figure prominently in Nietzsche’s life, Salomé was the most important to him. He describes her: “I found no more gifted or reflective spirit … Lou is by far the smartest person I ever knew.” He fell in love with her and would propose to her at least twice. Lou said she didn’t believe in marriage, so left Nietzsche with a broken heart. In her memoirs, she admits she did not fully understand Nietzsche until after their break-up 50 years later after analyzing most of his work as she was among the first to read.

Nietzsche was the diagnostician of European Nihilism and the most important thinker of the 19th century and all of that power came from a destiny meeting with his muse, Louise Andreas-Salome ? I am not sure, but it makes a great story.
